Jonmoore rented out various lifting equipment for the in-country fabrication of nine suction piles for the Tweneboa, Enyerra and Ntomme (TEN) project. These included a 400T Kobelco Crawler Crane, a 100T Terex Demag Mobile Crane, a 50T Grove Mobile Crane, a 4.5T Manitou Telehandler, a 7T Hyster Forklift and a Cherry Picker. The lifting equipment also assisted with the fabrication of the suction piles.
Prior to the load out phase of the project, a Self Propelled Modular Trailer of a capacity of 480 metric tons was imported into the country to assist with the movement of completed suctions piles from the fabrication area to the storage area on site.
A 600Tons Terex Demag Crawler Crane was also imported in-country and together with the already existing 400Tons Kobelco crane, all the suction piles were up-ended and finally loaded out onto a barge at the Sekondi Naval Base.
The suction piles were 21meters in length and had a diameter of 4.5meters and a weight of 122Tons each.
